Understanding RAW vs. PNG
RAW files are digital negatives. They contain unprocessed data from your camera sensor. They offer the most flexibility for editing but are huge in size and can't be viewed on most phones or browsers.
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) is a lossless raster format. When we convert RAW to PNG, we "develop" the raw data into a viewable image and save it without losing any quality (unlike JPG, which compresses the image).
Use this tool when you need to share a high-quality version of your photo, or if you want to archive a processed version that won't degrade over time.
